The Adventure Tourism Technology program aims to give you a complete training to enable you to plan and prepare field trips in a natural environment, coordinate and animate activities, teach skills and techniques, interpret your surroundings, intervene in emergency situations, use maps and instruments for orientation, maintain equipment and guide a group in a natural setting, in both English and a second language, as well as develop and promote adventure tourism products.

Programme unique

• Located near the Chic-Chocs Mountains, the Gaspé Coast is an exceptional playground to train adventure guides;

• The program offers both a winter and a summer co-op work term of three months;

• Opportunities for international work experience;

• The professors are part of the adventure tourism workforce;

• The training will allow you to obtain recognized industrial certifications;

• The program meets the standards set by the Canadian Council for Human Resources in Tourism and the Québec Adventure and Ecotourism Association;

• Unique in Canada : the program is offered in both French and English with the possibility of immersion in either language.
