The Student Coop is a business which is administered by its members. It costs $10 to become a member for life, of which $8 is reimbursable on departure. The coop sells texts and other books (as well as special orders), and stationery. Its services include photocopying, scanning, plasticizing of documents, and binding. It offers a complete computer department including sales of computers, printers, software, accessories, and services such as guaranteed government loans, and internal loan program, counselling and programming services
